I’m gonna write me a blues tune, I’m gonna sing it on the radio I’m gonna write me a blues tune, I’m gonna sing it on the radio Gonna play it over’n’over till everybody knows how it go Gonna learn some fancy footwork Gonna dance the night away Gonna learn some fancy footwork Gonna dance the night away Gonna dance around and around Till everybody dances my way Gonna write you a love song, Gonna play it to you all night long Gonna write you a love song, Gonna play it to you all night long Gonna play it over and over Till everybody sings along

Well I woke up this morning Yes it’s morning time again So I ask myself a question that's been stuck here in my brain Can a white boy sing the blues ? Can a white boy play the blues ? Well if you gonna leave me mama I cant see how it ain’t true So I went down to the diner to get myself a bite But the question went unanswered like a mystery in the night Can a white boy play the blues? Yeah Can a white boy play the blues? Well if you gonna leave me mama I can’t see how it ain’t true So I spent the day alone till no hours did remain It sure got kinda lonely but the question’s still the same Can a white boy play the blues ? Yeah Can a white boy sing the blues ? Well if you gonna leave me mama I can’t see how it ain’t true Well I'm seeking satisfaction from these quandaries of my mind It’s my pursuit for knowledge the only comfort I can find Since you left me baby I’m so lonely it's not true But as least I found my answer Here’s one white boy’s playin’ the blues

Looking Out 05:46
Lady wont you smile for me Maybe make me laugh I know it could be a while Before we can make things last Lady don’t you cry for me Wipe the tears away I know you would lie for me But believe me we wont have to one day Cause we’re looking out at the front of the road Please don’t look behind There’s no need to search in the past my love Cause you don’t know what you might find No you don’t know what you might find what you might find Lady won’t you dance for me Flash your eyes so bright Golden hair that shines at me Like golden morning light Morning leaves the night behind A night of dark and woe But when it’s gone we wont be blind The morning shows us which way to go Cause we’re looking out at the front of the road Please don’t look behind There’s no need to search in the past my love Cause you don’t know what you might find No you don’t know what you might find what you might find Lady won’t you sing for me a melody so clear Intonation modulation tone for all to hear Sing about our history The lessons never learned The lies we spread, the lives we ended, The forests we still burn

Gödels Rap 06:39
Got something to say , now the bridge is in play don't wanna do it this way but hey let's face it, Rap is crap , it’s a crock, nothing like rock’n’roll it just takes its toll on our heads and in our ears it’s not at all what it appears there's nothing clever reciting a string of obscenities misogyny dichotomies as if extemporization is going to save the nation come on lets move away from this tuneless tripe and ignore its hype let's get back to what’s right that’s rock’n’blues with tunefulness, emotion and beat , those talent-less rappers they can't take this heat get out of our kitchen rock’n’blues is cooking it’s so hot it’s smoking and we ain't joking

I can’t understand it , you say you’re a man You’re working sixteen hours a day You dress up right go out at night try to get the little ladies to Play But then you go out clubbin when you think you got your luck You go and dance the night away Well I can’t understand why you’re playing that rock’n’roll Well what’s it done for you has it kept you alright ? Does it listen to your troubles each day? Has it led you to glory has it shown you the light? Can you really say it’s shown you the way? But then you go out clubbin when you think you got your luck When you’re feeling alone is it someone to talk to?To tell when you’re rocking the roll When you’re far from your home is it something to learn through Is it true is it whole ? Can it really save your soul? But then you go out clubbin when you think you got your luck In You go and dance the night away Well I can’t understand why you’re playing that rock’n’roll I can’t understand it , you say you’re a man Still gonna dance the night away Well I can’t understand why you’re playing that rock’n’roll

It;s been a long long time coming And you’re a long time dead So if you gotta something to do, somewhere to be, If you got something to say best get it out of your head, ( out of your head before you’re dead would be wise) People call it the blues well maybe it’s just life Seems the more plans you make the more trouble and strife Now I’ve been here and there and I’ve been around a while still got plenty more to live and I still value a smile It’s been a long ,very long, veritably long time coming but believe, me when I say you’re a long time dead Will it all be worth it in the end All I know to you my soul I do commend

about

This is my first and probably only solo album I'll ever record. While some may well view it as an old geezer's folly I'm just grateful to have had the opportunity to capture this varied set of tunes that have been floating around in my head for so many years. It truly has been a long time coming as some of the songs I started writing almost 50 years ago and only recording this album precipitated their completion. All the songs have some roots in Blues and Blues-Rock although there's some Pop, Americana, Funk, even 'Rap' ( or rather 'Anti-Rap' ) influences. I just hope some of you out there enjoy something here and whatever thanks for your time.
