This song started out as a jazzy chord pattern then I took the lyrics from another tune I wrote in the 70's for a "failed to get off the ground" pop-rock band called the "Sweaty Frogs" fronted by a very handsome French lad but the timing was all wrong as Punk was just exploding. Anyway I digress. I actually think the lyrics would be better delivered by a female vocalist as there would be more layers of meaning but it was still a ball to sing and play and ticks the jazz-blues box on my list.
